Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the core engineering team building and scaling distributed systems for a data activation platform. You will improve systems that move large volumes of customer data across regions and clouds.

You will own projects from design through delivery, collaborate with customers on scaling challenges, and contribute to real-time data processing, webhooks, queues, and low-latency caching for personalization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with distributed systems and backend engineering.
• Experience building complex backend systems and scaling them through growth.
• Background creating event collection or data streaming services; experience with message queues, Kafka, SQL databases, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Strong systems design fundamentals and familiarity with Spark, Flink, or Kafka.
• Experience building scalable data sync systems that process large data volumes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize end-to-end syncing pipelines to move data faster.
• Design systems for real-time and streaming data sources, including webhooks and queues.
• Identify bottlenecks and architect solutions for growth and reliability.
• Build and improve low-latency caching services for real-time personalization.
• Develop and operate multi-region, multi-cloud infrastructure with data residency in mind.
• Own projects from design through delivery and collaborate with customers on scaling challenges.
