Hightouch is seeking a distributed systems engineer to work on the syncing engine and multi-cloud/multi-region infrastructure powering customer data workflows. You will tackle performance optimization, scalability, and troubleshooting to move massive data efficiently for a global customer base.

You will own projects end-to-end, work closely with customers to solve scaling challenges, and have influence over team priorities in a remote-first environment.

• Sync Speed: optimize syncing to destinations (e.g., Facebook, Snapchat).
• Streaming Syncing: move toward real-time syncs and streaming sources like webhooks and queues.
• Scalability and Reliability: plan for growth and future bottlenecks.
• Personalization API: low-latency caching layer for real-time personalization use cases.
• Multi-Region and Multi-Cloud: extend backend to new regions for data residency.
