• 7+ years backend software engineering experience with distributed systems.
• Experience building data streaming or data syncing systems at terabyte scale.
• Production experience with Kafka, SQL databases, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Strong CS fundamentals and system design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from technical design through production delivery.
• Build and optimize data syncing systems processing terabytes of data daily.
• Develop streaming capabilities for real-time data from webhooks and queues.
• Find performance bottlenecks and design scalable systems for growth.
• Improve low-latency APIs and build caching layers to meet performance goals.
• Extend multi-cloud and multi-region infrastructure for data residency requirements.
• Work with customers on scaling challenges and contribute to system reliability.
