Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Lead Director – Software Development Engineering to drive a multiyear modernization roadmap for Specialty Pharmacy infrastructure and applications. You will lead diverse engineering teams, collaborate with business and product leaders, and shape technology strategy across platforms and environments.

You will mentor engineers, optimize delivery practices, and partner with vendors to staff onshore and offshore, enabling scalable digital health solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with Agile methods.
• 7+ years in microservices development (Python/Java).
• 5+ years containerization experience (Kubernetes, Docker).
• 3+ years in cloud platforms (GCP).
• 1+ years experience with AI frameworks and AI-based services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the multiyear modernization roadmap for Specialty Pharmacy value streams.
• Design, develop and maintain core technology assets and platforms.
• Mentor and lead distributed engineering teams across geographies.
• Partner with Business, Product and Technology to drive delivery roadmap and value.
• Evaluate and improve engineering practices to boost time to market and product quality.
• Build relationships with vendors and solution providers; manage onshore/offshore staffing.
