Job summary

Association For Materials Protection And Performance seeks a Director of Learning Development to shape AMPP’s education strategy, oversee program lifecycles, and ensure alignment with certification requirements and governance. You will lead instructional design efforts, manage cross-functional teams, and drive innovative learning solutions across media and delivery channels.

Qualifications

4-year college degree in adult education, instructional design or a related subject.
A minimum of 10 years work experience in instructional design, course development, project management, education management, technical writing, etc.
Not-for-profit/association experience is a plus.
Show advanced technology knowledge and development.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a multi-year education business plan and product roadmap with priorities for new course development, updates, and retirement of courses.
Lead department in ADDIE, SAME, AGILE and other course development methodologies to design effective learning solutions for AMPP’s audience.
Conduct learning needs assessments and market analysis to identify gaps and opportunities across AMPP’s global audience.
Evaluate and integrate technology and best practices in adult learning and pedagogy to align AMPP’s Education portfolio with strategic goals.
