AMPP is seeking a Director of Learning and Development to lead the strategy, development, and performance of its global education portfolio. This senior leader oversees content development, delivery across formats, and ensures content remains current, technically innovative, and delivered by a strong instructor network.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in adult education, instructional design or a related subject.
• A minimum of 10 years work experience in instructional design, course development, project management, education management, technical writing, etc.
• Related work experience in a not-for-profit/association organization is a plus.
• Demonstrated proof of advanced technology knowledge and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a multi-year education business plan and product roadmap, including revenue and participation targets.
• Lead department in ADDIE, SAME, AGILE and other methodologies to design effective learning solutions across media and formats.
• Conduct ongoing learning needs assessments and market analysis to identify gaps and new education opportunities.
• Evaluate and integrate technology and best practices in pedagogy, content writing, QA, and product lifecycle management.
• Negotiate third party contractors/agreements to maximize financial return and alignment.
• Develop capital budget for course development and maintain relationships with education bodies to enhance AMPP’s position.
