Job summary

AMPP seeks a Director of Learning and Development to lead strategy, development, and performance of its global education portfolio. The role oversees content lifecycle, ensures current and innovative delivery, and manages a qualified instructor network across formats.

The Senior Director collaborates with AMPP's Certification leadership to ensure education pipelines to credentials and drives growth of PPS to meet strategic and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in adult education, instructional design or related
• Experience in instructional design, course development, project management, and education management
• Not-for-profit/association experience is a plus
• Proven ability to leverage technology in learning solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a multi-year education business plan and product roadmap.
• Lead department using ADDIE, SAME, AGILE to design learning solutions across media and delivery modalities.
• Conduct ongoing needs assessments and market analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Evaluate and integrate technology and best practices in pedagogy, content writing, and product lifecycle management.
• Evaluate and recommend Learning Content Management System and delivery platforms.
• Lead cross-functional teams to scope, plan, deliver, and price new or revised products.
• Design and deliver professional development for instructors of Education's programs.
• Coordinate with Education Program Committee and subject matter experts for timely development.
• Ensure AMPP's Education portfolio meets current and future industry needs.
• Negotiate third-party contracts to maximize value and alignment.
• Partner with Certification to align training with body-of-knowledge requirements.
• Develop capital budget for course development aligned with strategic goals.
• Maintain relationships with other learning associations to enhance AMPP's position.
• Oversee IACET and ISO education accreditation efforts.
