Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, seeks a senior leader to own and advance the global trade compliance program. You will influence governance, controls, and regulatory adherence across a complex, multinational business while collaborating with Legal, Tax, Supply Chain and R&D teams.

The role emphasizes strategic design, risk management, and continuous improvement to support global growth while aligning with Danaher standards. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 12+ years of multinational trade compliance experience.
• Experience leading mature global trade compliance programs with governance and internal controls.
• Knowledge of customs valuation, tariff classification, origin, FTAs, export controls and sanctions.
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cepheid's global trade compliance program across import, export, sanctions and customs.
• Provide technical guidance to Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, Tax, and R&D functions.
• Oversee customs valuation methodologies and origin strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Develop country of origin strategies and tariff mitigation programs.
• Lead the global trade compliance audit, monitoring, and internal controls framework.
• Drive transformation and digitalization using technology, automation and data governance.

Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, Law, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
