Job summary

Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Trade Compliance Manager to lead import/export compliance and drive tariff mitigation across the US, Canada, and Europe. You will shape programs, policies, and internal controls while partnering with Supply Chain, Quality, and R&D to ensure regulatory alignment.

The role emphasizes risk identification, process improvement, and global collaboration, with remote work preferred for candidates in the West Coast time zone.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in customs, export controls, or related field.
• Proficient knowledge of US export regulations including EAR, Census, OFAC and ECCN classification.
• Advanced expertise in U.S. customs regulations including valuation, HTS, origin and import compliance.
• Working knowledge of Canadian and EU import/export regulations and application.
• Experience with tariff mitigation strategies such as free trade agreements and duty drawback.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day trade compliance operations for US and Canada and support globally.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, R&D, Quality and other stakeholders on compliance requirements.
• Lead tariff mitigation and duty-saving strategies to support financial objectives.
• Develop and improve trade compliance programs, policies and internal controls for multiple regions.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce regulatory risk.
