Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager. This role focuses on US/Canada trade regulations, tariff mitigation, and program development within a global framework. Remote work with preference for West Coast time zones.

You will collaborate across Supply Chain, Logistics, R&D, and Quality to ensure compliance and optimize cost-saving opportunities. A bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in trade compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in customs/export controls or related field.
• Proficient knowledge of US export regulations (EAR, Census, OFAC).
• Experience implementing tariff mitigation strategies.
• Willingness to travel ~20–30% (onsite to San Jose, CA).

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day trade compliance activities for US and Canada and support global functions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, R&D, Quality to ensure compliance.
• Lead tariff mitigation and duty saving strategies (first sale, duty drawback, origin determinations).
• Develop and improve trade compliance programs and internal controls globally.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce regulatory risk and costs.
