Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Maintenance and Construction (DZMC) in Charlotte, NC is seeking a remote Sr. Director, Estimating, MC to lead an enterprise estimating organization across multiple markets and delivery models.

You will oversee conceptual through definitive estimates, cost models and risk-adjusted pricing for large EPC, industrial, energy, nuclear, renewables, and infrastructure programs, partnering with executives to drive profitability and competitiveness.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in estimating, project controls, or related fields in EPC/industrial sectors.
• 5+ years leading estimating teams and 3+ years supporting executive reviews or pricing approvals.
• Experience with large complex capital projects and portfolios (> $100M).
• Expert knowledge of EPC estimating methodologies and cost modeling.
• Strong ability to communicate complex estimating assumptions to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise estimating organization across markets and delivery models.
• Oversee conceptual through definitive estimates and cost modeling.
• Align estimating strategies with project plans and business goals.
• Develop enterprise estimating standards, governance, and tools.
• Manage executive estimate governance and bid/no-bid processes.
• Support project teams with estimate validation and cost analysis.
