Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Remote Manager, Commercial, MC for DZMC in Charlotte, NC. The role involves managing client correspondence and contract change order documents across several projects, coordinating with the site team to evaluate change orders, and guiding risk assessment and cost estimates.

The position requires a BA/BS and at least 5 years in Commercial Management, with travel to project sites and corporate offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or applicable experience.
• 5+ years of Commercial Management experience.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and corporate offices.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to communicate technical, financial, and contractual information clearly.
• Familiarity with Power and Industrial markets and related services.

Responsibilities

• Manage Client correspondence and change documents across multiple projects.
• Provide training and validate change requests, identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead negotiation meetings and prepare Change Order documentation.
• Maintain Change Management Logs and lead risk discussions.
• Develop Independent Cost Estimates and align deliverables with teams.
• Review project pricing and risk items with field and estimating teams.
