Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Risk Management to lead enterprise risk strategies across operations, contracts, insurance, and financing.

You will partner with executive leadership to strengthen the risk profile and optimize risk transfer and loss prevention across nationwide EPC and infrastructure projects. The role requires extensive senior risk experience, strong leadership, and the ability to influence at the Board level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• MBA or Master’s in Risk Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the Enterprise Risk Management framework across the company.
• Advise executive leadership and the Board on enterprise, operational, financial, and contractual risks.
• Develop risk assessments, KRIs, and risk reporting dashboards.
• Drive insurance program leadership across multiple lines and renewals.
• Develop alternative risk financing strategies including captive options.
• Oversee surety bonding strategy and program management.
• Provide claims oversight and loss-reduction strategies.
• Negotiate contracts to align risk transfer with insurance coverage.
• Collaborate with Safety, Fleet, Legal, and Operations for risk reduction.
• Lead and develop the risk management team and foster a proactive risk culture.
