SOLV Energy seeks a Senior Director, Risk Management & Construction Risk to serve as the enterprise risk leader guiding the company’s risk strategy across insurance, captives, claims, and contractual risk transfer. This role partners with executive leadership to strengthen risk posture and enable strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of enterprise risk management and related experience.
• Experience managing large-scale insurance and risk financing programs.
• Experience with captive/self-insurance and alternative risk financing.
• Strong interaction with executive leadership and Boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise risk management framework and reporting.
• Advise senior leadership and Board on enterprise and contractual risks.
• Develop risk assessments, KRIs, and dashboards for informed decisions.
• Oversee insurance programs (GL, WC, auto, liability, property, cyber, etc.).
• Lead captive and alternative risk financing strategies.
• Manage surety bonding strategy and relationships with insurers.
• Oversee claims management, loss prevention, and risk transfer agreements.
• Collaborate with Safety, Fleet, Legal, Operations on risk controls and governance.
