Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a Senior Director, Risk Management & Construction Risk, to lead the company’s enterprise risk framework and advisory functions. You will drive risk strategy across operations, finance, and growth, and oversee insurance, claims, and risk financing programs.

Remote opportunity with executive-level influence and collaboration with Operations, Preconstruction, Safety, and Legal. Requires 15+ years in risk management within EPC or infrastructure sectors and a track record

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise risk management, project risk, construction risk, insurance, or operational risk in EPC, industrial construction, energy, or infrastructure.
• Significant experience managing large-scale insurance and risk financing programs.
• Experience with captive insurance, self-insurance, large deductible programs, or other risk-financing structures preferred.
• Proven track record overseeing complex claims and litigation matters.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership and Boards of Directors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Enterprise Risk Management framework and reporting.
• Advise executives and the Board on risks across operations, contracts, and finance.
• Develop risk assessments, KRIs, and risk dashboards for informed decisions.
• Manage risk reviews during major initiatives, acquisitions, and expansions.
• Oversee insurance programs: GL, workers’ comp, auto, umbrella, property, cyber, etc.
• Evaluate and implement alternative risk financing and captive strategies.
• Lead surety program management and capacity planning.
• Partner with Safety, Fleet, Legal and Operations to reduce loss and risk.
