SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Senior Director, Risk Management & Construction Risk to lead the company’s risk strategy and align risk, insurance, and surety with growth goals. This remote role will influence executive decisions and long-term risk planning.

You will guide the enterprise risk framework, negotiate insurance terms, and partner with Operations, Legal, and Finance to embed risk awareness in project delivery. A background in large-risk programs and energy sectors is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive risk management experience in EPC/energy sectors.
• Experience managing large insurance and risk financing programs.
• Experience with captive/self-insurance programs preferred.
• Ability to partner with executive leadership and boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise risk management framework.
• Advise executive leadership and the Board on enterprise and operational risks.
• Develop KRIs, risk registers, and executive dashboards.
• Oversee insurance programs and captive strategy.
• Direct surety program management.
• Manage claims oversight and loss prevention.
• Develop and govern alternative risk financing programs.
