Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Risk Management & Construction Risk to lead enterprise risk, insurance, and captive financing strategies on a fully remote basis.

You will partner with Operations, Legal, Finance, and Safety to integrate risk across project delivery and growth initiatives, while strengthening the company’s risk profile and surety capacity. The role requires senior-level leadership, deep expertise in risk management, and a track record of delivering comprehensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise risk, project risk, construction risk, insurance, or operational risk.
• Experience managing large-scale insurance and risk financing programs.
• Experience with captive insurance, self-insurance, and other risk-retention structures preferred.
• Proven track record partnering with executive leadership and Boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
• Advise executive leadership and the Board on enterprise, operational, financial, and contractual risks.
• Develop risk assessments, risk registers, KRIs, and executive-level reporting dashboards.
• Oversee insurance programs, renewals, and program strategy development.
• Lead alternative risk financing, captive strategy, and loss-prevention initiatives.
• Manage surety program and cross-functional risk governance across the organization.
