SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Risk Management & Construction Risk to lead the enterprise risk program from a fully remote location in the United States.

The role oversees ERM, insurance, surety, claims, contractual risk transfer, and captive financing, partnering with Operations, Legal, and Finance to embed risk management in major projects. You will drive risk assessments, executive dashboards, and strategic insurance programs while aligning with growth, project delivery,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in risk management, insurance, finance, business or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in enterprise risk management, construction risk, insurance, or related areas.
• Experience overseeing large insurance and risk-financing programs.
• Experience with captive/self-insurance or large deductible programs preferred.
• Proven track record managing complex claims and litigation matters.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Enterprise Risk Management framework and provide strategic guidance to the Board and executives.
• Partner with Operations, Preconstruction, Safety, Finance, Legal, and HR to embed risk management in project decisions.
• Develop risk assessments, KRIs, dashboards, and executive risk reporting.
• Oversee insurance programs (GL, WC, Auto, Umbrella, Builders Risk, Cyber, Professional Liability).
• Lead alternative risk financing and captive strategy development; model TCOR and reserves.
• Manage surety program strategy and bond terms; align capacity with backlog.
• Oversee claims management and loss reduction practices.
• Ensure contractual risk standards across risk transfer, indemnification, and risk retention.
