Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of Risk Management & Construction Risk to lead risk strategy across enterprise risk management, insurance, surety, and loss prevention. You will align risk insights with project execution and strategic investments, collaborating with Operations, Finance, Safety, and Legal.

The role is fully remote and reports to the executive team. Expect responsibility for ERM framework development, captive/self-insurance options, and governance with the Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is required.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Professional risk/insurance designations (CPCU/CRM/ARM/CRIS/ACI) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and reporting.
• Advise executive leadership and Board on strategic risks across enterprise, operations, and finance.
• Manage insurance programs, captives, and alternative risk financing strategies.
• Oversee surety, claims, and contract risk transfer activities across projects.
• Partner with Safety, Legal, Operations, and Finance to embed risk management in decision making.
