Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Director, Risk Management & Construction Risk to lead the company’s risk portfolio, guiding enterprise-wide risk strategy, insurance programs, and captive financing. You will partner with executives to align risk with growth and project delivery.

This fully remote role requires close collaboration with Operations, Legal, Finance, and Safety to deliver board-ready risk insights, governance, and cost reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise risk management, insurance, and related fields.
• Experience with captive/self-insurance, large deductible programs, and risk financing structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Enterprise Risk Management framework and reporting.
• Advise executives and the Board on enterprise, operational, and contractual risks.
• Oversee insurance programs, including liability, workers' comp, property, cyber, and professional coverage.
• Develop alternative risk financing strategies and captive solutions.
• Manage surety program and complex claims with legal and broker partners.
• Partner with Safety, Fleet, Legal, Operations, and Finance to reduce risk.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing risk management team.
