Job summary

Merkle is a data-driven marketing agency seeking a Senior Director, Customer Lifecycle Marketing, to oversee strategic omni-channel campaigns for Insurance/Wealth Management clients in a B2B setting. You will report to the VP and drive ROI through cross-functional collaboration and deep client partnership.

You will translate technology and 1st party data into innovative marketing ideas, manage relationships with executives, and ensure measurable outcomes across multiple verticals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data driven marketing – CRM, email, online/offline media.
• Strong writing, presentation and client facing communication skills.
• Experience translating data analysis into actionable marketing recommendations and presentations – PowerPoint proficiency.
• Hands‑on skills using data and research to drive decisions – proficiency in Excel and research tools.
• Deep understanding of the customer lifecycle and how messaging strategy drives the experience.
• Experience in an agency or consulting environment (5+ years).
• Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the building, development, and delivery of strategic omni-channel marketing plans.
• Translate new technology, especially 1st party data marketing and CRM, into client marketing ideas.
• Show understanding of different verticals and environments in marketing to customers.
• Develop trusted, long-term relationships with key client contacts and executives.
• Ensure client value through best-practice solutions, skills, and original thinking.
• Collaborate with account management, operations, creative, analytics, and partner agencies to execute plans.
• Identify data points and metrics to demonstrate impact on the client’s business.
