Job summary

Aperio Philanthropy LLC is seeking a Senior Director, Client Services to lead partnerships, develop a sustainable client pipeline, and deliver on client commitments across a portfolio of organizations.

You will guide account teams, mentor staff, and serve as Aperio’s external face in the nonprofit fundraising community, driving revenue growth and client impact. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on client work and governance participation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in relationship-based fundraising (major gifts, foundations, or corporate partnerships)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large teams
• Experience soliciting $100,000+ gifts
• Strong storytelling and public speaking skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% of time

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of 5-10 active clients with advisory or account team roles
• Own client strategies, ensuring exceptional experiences and partnerships
• Mentor staff through formal and informal programs
• Drive business development and represent Aperio externally
• Collaborate with senior leadership to optimize client services
