Caliza is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps to own the infrastructure for real-time money movement and cross-border workflows. You will write production code in application services and infra, while ensuring reliability, security and monitoring across AWS/Kubernetes stacks.

The role emphasizes autonomy, async collaboration, and a security-first mindset, with remote work and overlap with US Eastern time. Strong English required and fintech experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong production code experience in Java or Kotlin and infra background.
• 5+ years in infrastructure, DevOps or SRE roles.
• Experience operating production systems on AWS, with Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with IaC (CDK/Terraform) and Helm.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as New Relic.
• Security-focused mindset and on-call incident response experience.
• Hands-on AI-assisted development with prudent review and judgment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and evolve AWS-based infrastructure and deployments.
• Build and improve deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Write production code across infrastructure and application services.
• Own observability with New Relic dashboards and SLOs.
• Manage secrets, access controls and identity infrastructure.
• Design for high availability and disaster recovery; lead incidents.
• Optimize AWS cost and performance; collaborate on security controls.
