Datadog seeks a Senior Technical Evangelist to serve as the chief storyteller for our most senior technical executives. The role drives content programs like DASH and Datadog Summits, shaping authentic, educational narratives for CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and senior architects.

You will coach product and engineering leaders on public communication, represent leadership viewpoints on our solutions and culture, and collaborate with event organizers to deliver compelling content across demos,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software developer, SRE, or other practitioner.
• 8+ years in a senior technical leadership capacity (e.g., Principal Engineer, VP/Director+, Staff Developer Advocate).
• 3+ years of storytelling and content creation (written content, talks, demos, blogs, etc.).
• Publicly available writing samples, demos, or talks on technical topics.
• Experience coaching others to speak publicly for technical audiences.
• Experience with technical conferences or events.
• Interest in self-driven exploration of new technologies and languages.

Responsabilités

• Be the key technical storyteller for senior technical executive audiences.
• Drive approach and execution of first-party technical event content programs (e.g., DASH, Datadog Summits).
• Define and drive executive-level advocacy programs for technical audiences.
• Represent Datadog’s point-of-view at events and conferences.
• Coach internal product and engineering leaders on effective public communication.
• Represent leadership’s viewpoint for solutions, engineering culture and industry trends.
• Collaborate with event organizers to curate compelling content for attendees.
• Create content across demos, talks, blogging, documentation, webinars, open source, and research.
