Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with production data pipelines and modern data engineering.
• Experience with distributed processing systems (e.g., Spark/Databricks).
• Experience with analytics platforms (Snowflake/BigQuery).
• Familiarity with streaming systems (Kafka).
• Knowledge of data quality, lineage, and metadata concepts.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for data observability for Datadog's advocacy and engineering teams.
• Create content across mediums to build Datadog's reputation in data engineering and observability.
• Coach internal product and customer engineering teams on effective public communication and presentations.
• Contribute to the product through feedback (bugs or product enhancements).
• Identify opportunities for events, programs, and community-focused work.
