Job summary

Datadog, Inc. is seeking a Manager II in our Developer Advocacy team. You will lead a global community program portfolio, coaching engineers to share knowledge through writing, talks, and hands-on contributions.

You will shape the Community Advocacy strategy, run Ambassador/Champion/User Group programs, and drive measurable outcomes while partnering across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Events, and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• You are an experienced people manager who has led autonomous technical professionals.
• You have defined and delivered developer advocacy or related programs at scale.
• You have coached speakers and helped craft credible technical narratives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Developer Advocates, coaching performance and growth.
• Own the strategy, goals, and roadmap for Community Advocacy.
• Guide Ambassador, Champion, and User Group programs for impact.
• Build repeatable systems for customer engineers to share knowledge and content.
• Develop a pipeline of customer stories for authentic narratives.
• Oversee conference talks from idea to delivery for Datadog events.
• Establish measures of program health and impact with qualitative/quantitative insights.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Events, and Customer Success.
