Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of experience with substantial accountability for complex data center or mission-critical capital projects.
• Deep multidisciplinary understanding of critical-facility systems, consultant governance, codes/standards, permitting, and global vs. local compliance.
• Strong commercial awareness to balance technical trade-offs against costs and to mentor cross-functional teams through influence.
• A four-year college degree in Architecture, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, U.S. Citizenship, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Define the design delivery strategy and lead major facility, campus phase, or complex regional programs from concept development through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate external consultants, equipment manufacturers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to integrate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, controls, and security systems.
• Oversee design reporting, risk management, and value engineering while leading the resolution of technical, commercial, and program risks.
• Serve as the principal design partner across internal divisions while mentoring Design Managers to elevate regional practices.
