Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Senior Design Manager to join our North America Design team in the United States. You will lead end-to-end design execution on major data center developments, customer deployments, phased expansions, or complex upgrades, ensuring safety, resilience, and sustainability goals.

You will coordinate architects, engineers, manufacturers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, mentoring Design Managers and aligning technical decisions with program needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with complex data center or mission-critical capital projects.
• Deep multidisciplinary understanding of critical-facility systems, codes and permitting.
• Strong leadership with ability to mentor and lead cross-functional teams.
• Four-year college degree; US Citizenship and ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design delivery for major facilities from concept to handover.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, controls and security systems.
• Drive risk, financial assurance, and value engineering while resolving technical and program risks.
• Partner with internal divisions and mentor Design Managers to elevate regional practices.
