Job summary

Iron Mountain, a global leader in data center design and secure information management, seeks a Senior Design Manager for our North America team. You will oversee end-to-end design execution on major data center programs, coordinating multi-disciplinary delivery from concept to handover.

Lead multidisciplinary teams, manage design risks and value engineering, and mentor fellow design managers while aligning technical decisions with safety, resilience, and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with complex data center or mission-critical capital projects.
• End-to-end design delivery oversight from concept through construction and handover.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage risk and cost.
• U.S. Citizenship and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own End-to-End Design Execution: define strategy and lead programs from concept to handover.
• Direct Multidisciplinary Teams: coordinate external consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Drive Risk & Financial Assurance: oversee risk, value engineering, and program risks.
• Partner & Mentor: mentor Design Managers to elevate regional practices.
