Job summary

NewVision Software is seeking a Senior Platform/Data Engineer to design scalable database architectures for transactional and analytical workloads. You will optimize performance, implement ETL/ELT pipelines, and work with Azure Service Fabric, Databricks, and Delta Lake to ensure high availability and security across distributed systems.

You will collaborate with architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to data models and BI-ready datasets

Qualifications

Advanced SQL and query optimization expertise.
Experience with partitioning and transaction handling.
Hands-on experience with Azure Service Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks.
Knowledge of Spark, Delta Lake, and distributed data processing.
Familiarity with Power BI and data modeling best practices.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure database architectures for transactional and analytical workloads.
Define partitioning strategies, indexing, and normalization for performance.
Build ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data.
Develop big data processes using Apache Spark on Databricks.
Implement Delta Lake for ACID transactions on large data lakes.
Ensure high availability and fault tolerance of distributed services.
Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and business teams to align solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and developers.
