Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech is seeking a Senior Data Architect to design and operate a centralized data foundation enabling trusted analytics and AI across the enterprise. You will architect the data layer between operations and business data products, aligning definitions and semantic models for consistent interpretation.

Responsibilities include expanding the data platform, onboarding new sources, and implementing governance, security, and scalable patterns with Snowflake and dbt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years in data architecture, data engineering, BI, or related roles.
• Strong data modeling, governance, and semantic layer knowledge.
• Advanced SQL with modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake and dbt is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate centralized data models and foundational structures.
• Transform siloed data into standardized datasets for analytics.
• Develop semantic models and metrics for consistent reporting.
• Onboard new data sources and expand the data platform.
• Prepare data assets for AI and advanced analytics.
• Design Snowflake access controls and data-sharing models.
• Define data quality standards and governance practices.
• Identify scalability opportunities for long-term growth.
• Create comprehensive documentation and standards.
