Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated data engineering experience, with production-grade pipelines.
• Snowflake architecture expertise, performance tuning, and data sharing.
• Experience moving data across hybrid environments (on-prem to cloud).
• Experience with semantic layers for AI / NLP / LLM readiness.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines for batch, real-time streaming, and event-driven data movement.
• Core developer for Snowflake data platform; supports performance, modeling, and storage structures.
• Architects pipelines delivering high-quality inputs to Snowflake and dbt AI features.
• Designs semantic layers and metadata models to support Self-Service 2.0 interfaces.
• Establishes reference architectures, templates, and CI/CD practices for decentralized teams.
• Provides mentorship to one data engineer; guides analysts in engineering practices.
• Drives dbt adoption and evaluates AWS/Azure tools to optimize data flow.
