Job summary

Beghou Consulting LLC seeks Senior Data Engineers in Princeton, NJ to contribute to the firm’s in-house enterprise data platform, document code, and design scalable architectures on AWS/Azure. Telecommuting is permitted, with a hybrid work policy.

The role requires a BS in CS/Math/Engineering and 5 years of related data engineering experience. Responsibilities include leading implementation, mentoring juniors, presenting architecture to clients, and guiding project design and best practices.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of related experience.
• 5 years of experience with Python or PySpark and ETL pipelines.
• 2 years of experience with AWS and Azure; Databricks platform.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the firm’s in-house enterprise data platform with minimal guidance; documents code and design.
• Implements data engineering solutions independently within project scope.
• Trains individuals or smaller groups in data engineering best practices.
• Communicates architecture knowledge in client discussions; translates needs into action plans.
• Leads code reviews and writes DRY, well-encapsulated code.
• Mentors junior team members and fosters an innovative, inclusive environment.
