Job summary

Ambu in Columbia, MD or Remote is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Architecture & Platform Engineering to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data architecture and platform capabilities. This role owns cloud-based data platforms with a focus on security, governance, and scalability across analytics, reporting, AI, and business applications.

You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver sustainable solutions, drive data modeling and integration,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in data architecture, data engineering, platform engineering, or related roles.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing technical teams or enterprise data initiatives.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based data platforms and enterprise data solutions.
• Experience developing data integration processes, ETL pipelines, and large-scale data environments.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, database design, and governance principles.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Understanding data security, privacy, compliance, and cybersecurity best practices.
