Job summary

JSR Tech Consulting is seeking a hands‑on Lead AWS Data Engineer to design and deliver enterprise‑scale cloud data platforms on AWS. You will mentor engineers, drive DevOps practices, and shape data architectures across ingestion, storage, and analytics.

You will guide data platform modernization, lead technical initiatives, and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, high‑performing data solutions. Hybrid onsite Newark, NJ preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires 7+ years in Data Engineering and 3+ years as Lead Data Engineer or Technical Lead.
• Strong programming experience with Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize enterprise‑scale data pipelines and cloud data architectures.
• Architect end‑to‑end AWS data solutions including ingestion, storage, transformation, and analytics.
• Lead migration of legacy data platforms to AWS‑based environments.
• Mentor and guide a team of Data Engineers; conduct code reviews and establish best practices.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
