Job summary

Beghou Consulting LLC is seeking Senior Data Engineers in Princeton, NJ to contribute to the firm’s enterprise data platform. Responsibilities include building features, fixing bugs, documenting components, and training peers in data engineering best practices.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with 5 years of experience, including Python or PySpark, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms AWS/Azure/Databricks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Math/Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience with Python or PySpark.
• 5 years configuring and managing ETL pipelines for diverse datasets.
• 2 years of experience with AWS, Azure, and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the firm’s in-house data platform with minimal guidance; documents code and components.
• Implements data engineering solutions within project scope; shares knowledge with team.
• Leads code reviews and writes DRY, well-encapsulated code.
• Mentors junior team members and participates in architecture discussions with senior staff.
• Prepares presentation materials; leads storyboard sessions and client/internal meetings.
