Job summary

Button Commerce is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to drive data-driven decisions across the platform. You will analyze trends in product performance, customer behavior, and operational efficiency, with a strong emphasis on SQL-based extraction and reporting.

You will build dashboards, refine methodologies, and automate pipelines while partnering with product, engineering, and marketing to translate insights into business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within digital advertising, affiliate marketing, e-commerce, or financial analytics.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a focus on financial modeling, ad performance, campaign optimization, and revenue impact.
• Experience with large datasets and data visualization tools such as Omni, Looker, or similar BI tools.
• Strong proficiency in SQL; BigQuery or cloud-based data warehouses preferred.
• Experience designing, running, and interpreting experiments using Statsig.
• Understanding of revenue forecasting, CPA, ROAS, and LTV.
• Excellent communication, ability to translate insights to stakeholders.

• Demonstrate proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting tasks.
• Deliver actionable insights that inform product strategy, improve customer experiences, and drive platform growth.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks for key metrics.
• Evaluate and refine analytical methodologies to ensure data accuracy and improve forecasting.
• Automate data workflows, reporting pipelines, and dashboards to scale analytics.
• Partner with product, engineering, and marketing to translate insights into business impact.
