Mercari is seeking a Senior Growth Data Analyst in the San Francisco Bay Area to drive measurable business impact through advanced analytics and strategic insights. You will partner with Growth, Marketing, and Product to translate opportunities into actionable experiments and scalable dashboards.

Responsibilities include end-to-end analytics ownership, modeling, and automation, with a focus on driving growth through data-driven decisions and governance practices.

Qualifications

8+ years experience in data analytics with large-scale data processing tools
Proven growth analytics track record with measurable business impact
Proficiency in Python and SQL (BigQuery)
Strong grounding in statistics and causal reasoning

Responsibilities

Identify trends and anomalies in complex datasets and translate into high-impact recommendations
Own analytics lifecycle from problem definition to data cleaning, modeling, and delivery
Design and maintain data models and automated dashboards as single sources of truth
Partner with Product, Marketing, Ops to distill technical insights for non-technical audiences
Automate repetitive data tasks and advocate data governance and code quality
