Job summary

agent is seeking a Product Analyst to join a remote contract role spanning product, data, and behavioral science. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to translate data into actionable insights that influence interventions and outcomes.

Responsibilities include designing experiments, building Mixpanel dashboards, and writing SQL/Python scripts for data processing. Strong communication and statistical skills are essential for shaping research-driven product improvements.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in Product Analytics, Growth Analytics, Data Analytics, or similar digital product role.
• Hands-on experience with Mixpanel dashboards, event taxonomy, and validation.
• Proficiency writing SQL for structured and unstructured data.
• Working experience with Python for analysis, automation, or processing.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, pipelines, data sources, and visualizations.
• Solid statistical foundation in experiment design, hypothesis testing, and regression.
• Ability to read application code to debug analytics instrumentation.
• Strong communication skills for translating analyses into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product teams to inform feature development and behavioral interventions through data analysis.
• Design experiments, formulate hypotheses, and run exploratory and statistical analyses on user behavior.
• Build and validate event tracking and dashboards in Mixpanel.
• Write SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing and automation.
• Contribute to data ingestion pipelines, schema design, and BI visualizations for stakeholders.
• Support qualitative user research and methods/results sections for research manuscripts.
• Assist grant-funded projects and ad hoc analyses for commercial and client studies.
