Job summary

Humana, Inc. seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead complex cybersecurity initiatives from planning to implementation.

You will coordinate across cybersecurity operations, product teams, and vendors, manage risks and budgets, and translate technical concepts for executives. Ideal candidates bring 5–8+ years of cross‑functional project leadership in technology and security, with strong PM disciplines, stakeholder influence, and experience with Jira/Azure DevOps/Jira Align/ServiceNow

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, business, engineering, or related field.
5–8+ years leading cross‑functional projects and programs in technology, cybersecurity, or risk.
Experience coordinating multiple teams, stakeholders, and dependencies.
Experience delivering initiatives in cybersecurity domains such as identity security, cloud security, or governance.
Strong PM discipline knowledge: planning, risk, dependency, governance, reporting.
Experience developing executive communications and decision-support materials.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders in matrixed organizations.
Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and vendor engagements.

Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex cybersecurity initiatives from planning through implementation.
Develop integrated project plans, milestones, risks, and action items.
Coordinate delivery across cybersecurity teams, tech units, business stakeholders, and vendors.
Drive execution across domains such as IAM, Security Operations, Cloud Security, and Governance.
Facilitate planning sessions, reviews, governance forums, and steering meetings.
Identify risks, constraints, dependencies, and schedule impacts; implement mitigations.
Establish and maintain project reporting with progress, risks, milestones, and outcomes.
Translate technical concepts into business communications for leadership.
Align project execution with strategic objectives and roadmaps.
Manage scope, goals, timeline, budgets, and time tracking; ensure accountability.
Support vendor engagements, contracts, and procurement when applicable.
Maintain project artifacts, governance requirements, and controls throughout lifecycle.
Adapt delivery approaches to Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid as needed.
