Job summary

Marqeta, Inc. is seeking a Principal Product Manager for the Credit team to own end-to-end strategy for the credit platform. You will shape a multi-quarter roadmap, guide backend and API evolution, and align with banks and networks to scale our credit services.

This is an individual-contributor role with mentorship and cross-team influence. You will drive market insight, regulatory alignment, and customer value while partnering with engineering, legal, and risk to deliver robust credit

Qualifications

10+ years of product management experience in fintech or payments.
Proven track record shipping technically complex credit products at scale.
Experience working with networks and banks in leadership roles.
Strong executive presence with senior stakeholders and compliance teams.
Deep technical fluency with APIs, data models, and architectures.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end strategy for credit platform across multi-quarter roadmap.
Define requirements for scalable backend systems, APIs, and data models.
Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, GTM, operations, and risk.
Partner with engineering on account management and transaction processing decisions.
Engage with customers and stakeholders to surface needs and validate solutions.
Use analytics to identify gaps and guide prioritization.
