Marqeta is seeking a Principal Product Manager for the Credit team to own the end-to-end strategy of the credit platform, defining a multi-quarter roadmap that scales core credit services for customers and partners. You will mentor others, drive prioritization across multiple stakeholders, and set the standard for credit infrastructure products at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management in fintech/payments.
• Proven track record of shipping technically complex credit products at scale.
• Domain thought leader in credit and fintech.
• Strong executive presence with experience influencing senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Deep technical acumen engaging with APIs, data models, system architecture and AI/ML applications.
• Bias for action in ambiguous situations with accountability.
• Experience building or scaling credit-as-a-service for enterprise clients or card programs.

Responsibilities

• Define, own and deliver the multi-quarter strategy for credit platform core services.
• Write detailed product requirements and technical docs for engineering teams.
• Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, GTM, operations, legal, compliance and risk.
• Partner with engineering leaders on architecture decisions affecting account management and data integrity.
• Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to surface needs and validate solutions.
• Use analytics to identify gaps, measure impact and sharpen prioritization.
