Job summary

Marqeta is seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Credit team to own the end-to-end evolution of the credit platform, driving core services that enable clients to launch and manage credit products at scale. You will work with engineering, GTM, design, legal, and compliance to translate regulatory realities into market-ready features.

The role offers remote work options through Premium or National locations, with compensation tiers based on geography.

Qualifications

5+ years in product management for credit cards or lending.
Hands-on experience with backend systems and APIs.
Strong communication to translate regulatory topics for diverse audiences.
Comfort navigating legal and risk reviews as part of product delivery.

Responsibilities

Shape the Credit Platform Roadmap for multi-quarter strategy.
Define requirements for backend systems, APIs, and data models for credit management and processing.
Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, GTM, operations, legal, compliance, and risk.
Influence system architecture with engineering on account management and data integrity.
Champion API excellence for reliable, scalable integrations.
Own the product roadmap aligned with client needs and business goals.
Engage with external customers and internal stakeholders to surface needs.
Make data-informed decisions using analytics and metrics to sharpen prioritization.
