Job summary

Marqeta seeks a Principal Product Manager for the Credit team to own the end-to-end strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for the credit platform, scaling services for customers and partners. This is an individual-contributor role with mentorship across the team and a focus on risk/reward decisions and scalable credit infrastructure.

You will influence architecture and collaborate with engineering, GTM, operations, legal, compliance, and risk to deliver impactful features.

Responsibilities

• Shape the credit platform roadmap across multiple quarters to align with client needs, objectives, and regulatory requirements.
• Define scalable requirements and technical documentation for backend services, APIs, and data models.
• Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, GTM, operations, legal, compliance, and risk.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership on account management, transaction processing, and data integrity.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to surface needs and validate solutions.
• Use analytics and product metrics to identify gaps and prioritize the roadmap.
• Represent credit externally to enterprise clients, issuing banks, and networks.
• Own outcomes across teams without direct reports.
