Marqeta, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager for its Credit team to own the end-to-end evolution of the credit platform, shaping core services for clients launching and managing credit products at scale.

You will collaborate with engineering, GTM, design, legal, and compliance to deliver market-ready features with precision. You will translate regulatory and architectural realities into clear product decisions, drive platform strategy, and earn trust with engineers and executives alike.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of product management experience focused on credit cards or lending, with a track record of owning complex platforms or backend product areas end-to-end.
• ~5+ years of hands-on experience working with backend systems and APIs—able to engage fluently with engineering on system architecture, data models, and distributed services.
• Exceptional communication skills—distill complex technical and regulatory topics into clear narratives for audiences from backend engineers to external clients.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to credit products, with comfort navigating legal and risk reviews as a core part of product delivery.
• Familiarity with payment network rules, card scheme regulations, or broader payment technology best practices as they relate to credit product design.

• Shape the Credit Platform Roadmap — Define and drive multi-quarter strategy for credit platform core services.
• Define Requirements That Scale — Author detailed product requirements and technical docs for APIs and data models.

• Influence System Architecture — Collaborate with engineering on architectural decisions affecting account management and data integrity.
• Champion API Excellence — Ensure APIs are reliable, scalable, and easy to integrate.
• Own the Product Roadmap — Align feature prioritization with business goals and client roadmaps.
• Champion the Customer — Engage with customers and stakeholders to surface needs and validate solutions.
• Make Data-Informed Decisions — Use analytics to identify gaps and prioritize improvements.
