Job summary

Marqeta is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape the credit platform roadmap, owning multi-quarter strategy and aligning with client needs and regulatory requirements.

You will drive API- and data-model requirements, collaborate with engineering on architecture, and ensure scalable, reliable APIs for external customers. This role emphasizes customer impact, analytics-driven prioritization, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience focused on credit cards or lending
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with backend systems and APIs
• Deep technical acumen across APIs, distributed systems, and modern production environments
• Exceptional communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization
• Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to credit products

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-quarter strategy for credit platform core services
• Author detailed product requirements and technical documentation for APIs and data models
• Lead coordination across engineering, GTM, operations, legal, compliance, and risk to move new credit products to market
• Collaborate with engineering on architectural decisions affecting account management and data integrity
• Ensure credit account APIs are reliable and scalable for external customers
• Align feature prioritization with business goals and client roadmaps
• Engage with external customers and internal stakeholders to surface needs and validate solutions
• Use analytics to identify gaps and measure feature impact on the credit roadmap
