Job summary

Square is seeking a Senior Creative Strategist to independently lead creative and content strategy for a defined growth portfolio within Demand Generation. You will own initiatives from audience insight to optimization across paid and unpaid experiences.

This role combines marketing, creative strategy, content development, and experimentation, translating priorities, product messaging, and data into programs that drive consideration, acquisition, and conversion.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience across creative strategy, performance marketing, growth marketing, integrated marketing, content strategy or advertising.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex programs and measurable business outcomes.
• Advanced fluency with AI-powered tools and workflows in creative strategy.
• Strong analytical and experimentation skills with data-driven decision making.
• Experience developing messaging strategies and translating them across audiences and channels.
• Independent leadership of complex initiatives from insight to launch.
• Cross-functional influence and communication to align stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own creative and content strategy for a growth portfolio, connecting objectives, audience needs, and channels.
• Build messaging frameworks and hierarchies for paid and unpaid channels.
• Identify unmet audience needs and opportunities for experimentation.
• Lead quarterly tactical plans with partners and own the testing roadmap.
• Lead new creative and content development from concept to launch with partners.
• Own performance reviews with analytics partners and translate results into actions.
• Synthesize learnings across experiments to guide future messaging and strategy.
• Scale winning messages across paid and unpaid channels and experiences.
