Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to perform advanced project cost accounting for U.S. government contracting operations.

You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, billing support, financial reporting, and audit prep. This non-exempt hourly position emphasizes compliance with GAAP, CAS, and SOX, with opportunities to improve processes and mentor teammates while collaborating with program finance and accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience.
• Ability to work remotely with guidance and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Month end close and journal entries with documentation.
• Prepare complex reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support project cost, billing, and revenue calculations.
• Produce recurring close reports and audit-ready support.
• Apply CAS, SOX, and internal controls knowledge to activities.
• Provide guidance and training, improve processes, and support leadership.
