Job summary

V2X, a global leader in infrastructure solutions, is seeking a qualified accountant to join our team. Based in the United States, you will support month-end close, reconciliations, billing, and contract reporting in a remote environment with guidance.

You bring at least five years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and ERP experience. This role emphasizes internal controls, accuracy, and the ability to collaborate across finance and program teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of accounting experience with month-end close and journal entries.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with guidance.
• Understanding of internal controls and supporting documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Month end close: prepare, enter, validate, and troubleshoot journal entries with documentation and deadlines.
• Prepare and review complex monthly reconciliations, investigate variances and data issues.
• Compile, analyze, and validate labor and cost data for invoices and reporting.
• Prepare recurring close reports, invoice support, and contract deliverables for review.
• Apply COS and SOX concepts; respond to audits with prepared support.
• Serve as a resource for cost accounting processes and train peers as needed.
• Support the Cost Accounting Manager on special projects and process improvements.
