Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an Accounting Associate II to process and reconcile subcontractor labor transactions and support contract and labor accounting operations. This role is fully remote within the United States.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience, strong proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and Excel, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Prior government contracting exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience using Deltek Costpoint.
• Knowledge of subcontractor management, vendor and employee setup, and work assignments.
• Experience with timekeeping, vouchers, labor reporting, and related financial processes.
• Experience working in a government contracting environment.
• Understanding of contract structures.
• Knowledge of task orders and their requirements.
• Familiarity with labor categories and rate structures.
• Awareness of periods of performance and funding processes.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements.
• Understanding of audit considerations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative, financial, and project-related tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
• Maintain accurate records, track deliverables, and support subcontractor and labor management processes.
• Assist with invoicing, labor tracking, and reporting to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and subcontractors to resolve issues.
